Alicia has always wanted to help people however she can. Her initial interest in massage came from her studies in psychology, where she read about the mind-body connection while looking for a more natural approach. Learning about how much our mind impacts the way we physically feel, and how we store emotions/traumatic events within ourselves, Alicia saw an opportunity to help people heal emotionally by releasing the physical manifestations of their stress. Massage Therapy Philosophy

From breaking up scar tissue and removing swelling to easing pain and encouraging relaxation, massage has the ability to benefit both body and mind. Massage is also an important, yet often overlooked, preventative therapy. When made a part of your regular routine, massage can help you maintain a healthy & balanced standard of living.

What to Expect About Working with Alicia

I’ve been told by multiple clients that I’m not like other massage therapists. My style has evolved over the past 7 years into one that I can confidently call my own. I strive to empower my clients to find the healing strength within themselves. Healing is a personal journey, I do my part to encourage the process but true lasting results come from you.

Her Greatest Success

For me, it’s the “little” successes. Hearing how my clients can now “golf on the weekends” or how they are “finally learning to let go” fills me with joy on a daily basis.

Her Expertise

A therapeutic blend of modalities that are implemented throughout massage sessions: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Lymphatic Drainage, Craniosacral Therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy, Prenatal, and Reiki
