BS, Exercise Science – University of North Dakota
Doctorate of Physical Therapy – University of Mary
Growing up around sports, Erica has long had interest in physiology and biomechanics. Her pursuit of a doctorate in physical therapy began because she wanted to unite these two subjects in a setting that allowed her to work closely with other people. Outside of MPOWER, Erica enjoys being outdoors with her husband and silver Labrador, Kiba. Learn more about having Erica as your physical therapist:
Physical Therapy Philosophy
Whether a patient’s goal is a return to previous daily activities or return to high-level sport, the common thread between them is the desire to increase quality of life.
What to Expect About Working with Erica
Regardless of what stage my patients are in, the critical connecting point is the effective application of knowledge, skills, and abilities to achieve optimal outcomes. Being an effective physical therapist requires two people, me and you. I treat specifically each individual and being aware of unique dynamics involved is especially important to me.
Her Greatest Success
My greatest sense of success with a comes from watching clients adapt to a healthier lifestyle than they had previous to physical therapy; developing a broader perspective of their overall health and wellness.
