Elise Andrich

Personal Trainer located in Green Hills, Nashville, TN

About Elise Andrich

BS, Fitness and Sports Studies – Lipscomb University

Certifications Held: CSCS, NASM CPT, CPR/AED

As a D1 college soccer player, Elise was always required to take care of her body to perform her best on the field. After her career, she became more intrigued by overall health for new reasons unrelated to performance. As she learned more about health for herself, she became more passionate about sharing her knowledge and deepening relationships with others.

In addition to being a personal trainer, Elise is a Women’s Soccer Strength & Conditioning Coach for Trevecca Nazarene University.

Elise wants to serve the overall health of her clients, not just physical health. She values conversation and intentional thought, so she makes it a priority to ask her clients about their lives outside of the gym. She’s their biggest fan and she wants to see them LOVING their lives!

PERSONAL TRAINING PHILOSOPHY

We need to offer ourselves so much grace as we learn what health looks like in different seasons of life. We need to appreciate the flow of life and be willing to navigate change. Life should never be stagnant, and we should always be willing and hungry to learn and grow. We need to apply the basic principles of health and wellness to each new season. We need to challenge ourselves, try new things, and learn how to fail and adjust well. As we learn and appreciate more about how we were created to function, we should turn to the one who created us in fullness of gratitude.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN WORKING WITH ELISE

Working out should be FUN! I’m full of energy and love to joke around and laugh with my clients. I really value figuring out what each client enjoys most and making those things consistent habits. I am serious when I need to be, but the health and fitness journey should be enjoyed, appreciated, and full of grace. We are our toughest critics, but we also need to be our biggest fans.

HER GREATEST SUCCESS

On my first day working with this client, I wasn’t sure how the journey would go moving forward. She was very disappointed with the functionality and health of her body, and I could feel that weight translating into her overall energy and view of life. As time progressed, she began to open up about other struggles in her family and in different areas of her life, and how everything was connected. She was very self-aware and responsible for her own growth and healing, and she willingly visited outside resources to help accomplish her goals. I quickly began to learn my role as her personal trainer, but also as her encourager, her challenger, her listener, and sometimes her voice of reason. God shows up so clearly through connection and relationships, and it’s been such a joy to walk alongside her as she heals, grows, and remembers where her true joy comes from.
