About Winston Gordon

BS, Exercise Science – The Ohio State University

His expertise is in behavior change implementation and sport-specific power development and injury prevention techniques

CERTIFICATIONS: ACSM C-EP (Certified Exercise Physiologist)

Winston’s interest in health and wellness began at a young age. He began playing sports at three years old, and looked up to an older brother who constantly pursued his own health, specifically with weight lifting. Winston found his passion for wellness while studying exercise science at The Ohio State University, where he worked with the OSU Women’s Basketball Team. He is an avid golfer, and loves working with sport-specific athletes, but loves working with clients of any age or experience!

PERSONAL TRAINING PHILOSOPHY

Every client and athlete is different, and wellness is a not a trip, not a journey, but a lifestyle. My job as a trainer is to find what that “lifestyle” entails for each individual person, implement movement patterns and behavioral changes specific to your goals, and educate you on how to incorporate those things to make real, sustainable changes that improve performance and quality of life.

WHAT TO EXPECT ABOUT WORKING WITH WINSTON

Be ready to be held accountable. Come committed and open to change. Be ready to work AND learn. Most importantly, be ready to look at wellness in a positive light and have a whole lot of fun pursuing it.

HIS GREATEST SUCCESS

I worked as a team with a group of trainers to help a client put on over 40 pounds of muscle in 18 months.
