Ugo Amadi, NFL Safety

I came to MPOWER Physical Therapy for help with chronic knee pain that I was having trouble managing. From the start, MPOWER stood out because of the welcoming atmosphere they cultivate, along with the kind, professional, and skilled providers who create it. The environment is warm and energizing, making it easy to stay motivated and leave each session feeling better than when I arrived.

Working with Nikki Clayton has been a key part of my recovery and performance as an NFL athlete. Nikki takes great pride in her work, no matter the size or complexity of the task, and she consistently introduces new exercises that have significantly contributed to my recovery and long-term durability in my profession. Many of these exercises are tailored specifically to my needs, directly improving my performance on the field. I have a lot of trust in Nikki to keep me healthy and game ready. When we work together, I know all I need to bring is my focus, and she’ll handle the rest.

Physical therapy at MPOWER has been incredibly beneficial, allowing me to focus on individualized work that enhances my performance and address the smaller, often overlooked details that team-focused training doesn’t always cover. Soft tissue work, in particular, has a significant and immediate impact on my body, and I leave each session feeling a noticeable difference.

Nikki and the MPOWER team tailored my rehab program to the physical and performance demands of professional football. They focus not only on recovery but also on building strength, stability, and mobility in ways that translate directly to what I do on the field. Nikki incorporated position-specific movements, speed and agility work, and functional strength exercises that simulate game scenarios, ensuring I return stronger and more prepared each season.

I would highly recommend MPOWER to any athlete serious about their recovery and performance. The team is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to understand your goals, sport, and physical needs. Whether you’re rehabbing an injury or looking to improve your game, they build a personalized plan that pushes you in the right ways.

If I had to describe MPOWER in three words, it would be teamwork, respect, and compassion.
