About Jamie Young

Jamie Young was inspired to pursue a career in PT after seeing how treatment transformed his grandfather’s life. Following a serious back injury, his grandfather was able to regain his independence and mobility several years later by receiving physical therapy treatment. Today, Jamie carries that same passion into his practice, guiding patients from initial injury or surgery through long term functional goals in a step wise, evidence based, and individualized approach. Jamie also has a strong sports background and played baseball for both Lipscomb University and Indiana University Southeast in college.

proudest moment

My proudest moment as a PT so far has been treating a young kid with Little League Elbow. This involved heavy education so he and his parents could understand the importance of a temporary shutdown period from throwing while we worked on improved strength and biomechanics of the entire kinetic chain. I was so proud when he was finally able to hit his strength goals and ease back into throwing after several months of hard work.
