What to expect when working with Emily

“I will listen to my patient’s needs and do my best to help meet their goals. We will work hard together but also have a lot of fun doing it! I try to make therapy fun and exciting, because I know patients aren’t always thrilled to be here. I know patients hurt, so if I can make them laugh and bring a smile to their face, they can usually push passed their pain and enjoy therapy.”

How would you describe the importance / benefit of the service you provide?

“My goal in OT is to help patients return to being independent with their normal daily activities. By decreasing their pain and increasing their function. It not only helps them physically but improves their mental health as well!”
