About JD

I developed a passion for healthcare as a college intern at the Nashville Campus for Human Development. Combined with a passion for athletics and the sciences - I found physical therapy. I continued to pursue student experiences in Boise, Memphis, and Salt Lake City. As a Nashville native, I am thrilled to be delivering quality healthcare as a physical therapist with MPOWER.

Personal Philosophy

To be a listener first, educator second, and practitioner third.

Greatest Success

I had worked with a patient who had undergone a labral repair. We were able to get him back to collegiate baseball. We had talked about his interest in physical therapy and the exercise and rehab sciences during our sessions. Subsequently, he chose to spend hours in the clinic alongside myself and some of our other therapists. Seeing that progression from patient, to athlete, to friend, to mentee is something I won't ever forget during my career.
